Back in the Swing and CBIZ Women's Advantage announced a new partnership at the 4th annual CBIZ Autumn Women's Celebration held on November 5, 2009 at the CBIZ offices in Leawood, KS. "One Hot Pink Party" marked the premier of a joint educational and networking event for these two organizations. It will provide the template for future CBIZ/Back in the Swing events via the nationwide CBIZ network of offices.
"CBIZ and Back in the Swing are joining forces on a mission of education," said Nancy M. Mellard, CBIZ Executive Vice President and General Counsel, and CBIZ Women's Advantage National Leader. "Our event, which combines the best available resources on breast cancer survivorship with a fun networking component, will reach thousands of women through our national CBIZ network. It is our goal to help Back in the Swing communicate their message of joyful, healthy, proactive living after breast cancer wherever CBIZ has a presence," Mellard said.
At "One Hot Pink Party", guests took part in demonstrations by Back in the Swing healthcare partners, and learned powerful and enlightening ways to bring balance, energy, strength and focus into their lives.
The CBIZ Autumn Women's Celebration is underwritten by CBIZ and CBIZ Women's Advantage. The goal is to provide an opportunity for women professionals to connect with colleagues and friends, and to support organizations that focus on assisting women and children in the community.
